Quartet of Hand Thrown Cups in Organic Shapes

Claire Reishman has been throwing pots in her Sewanee, Tennessee, studio for decades, and firing them in the kiln she built herself with the help of her students. We love the organic shapes of her vessels, and the earth and sky colored glazes that combine in each piece to give them their beauty and dimension. We especially admire the beauty and singularity of these small vessels and the sublime interior glaze that is the color of a robin’s egg. Claire uses these cups for everything from wine to herbal tea to her famous lemon curd. I use one of mine as a salt cellar and the other to hold garlic. They are as versatile as they are beautiful. Here we offer a quartet of assorted colors and shapes to grace your bar or kitchen counter.
